F DCSAR - How Funded MainTemplate

Your Financial Support is important!

The DCSAR is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Utah. Working as an official auxiliary of the Davis County Sheriff's Office, we receive no significant funding from tax dollars. Funds to purchase equipment and training are raised from generous donations by local businesses and individuals throughout the year.

To raise funds for this volunteer Search and Rescue effort, we conduct a few fund raising activities throughout the year. Funds raised from these events are used to purchase new equipment and training necessary to conduct search and rescue operations throughout the year.

One such activity is the Davis County Sheriff’s Benefit Golf Tournament. This event is sponsored by the Davis County Sheriff, and is used to raise funds exclusively for the DCSAR.
